Our YENSA choreographer’s Lab is back!

 YENSA YENKA (Let’s Dance, Let’s Talk) choreographers’ Lab serves as a sanctuary where Black female choreographers gather to not only share their experiences but also to cultivate a sense of belonging and empowerment within the dance community.

YENSA festival, produced by LSDC, returns for its third edition under the theme AS I AM. Rooted in Black women’s artistry, inventiveness, and bold imagination, YENSA Festival 2026 honours Black women dance artists claiming space on their own terms.
